Manchester United are 'admirers' of Manchester City starlet James McAtee, with the Blues growing worried about losing their promising talent to a Premier League rival, according to reports.
City have some of the most highly-rated players in the country in their academy, fighting their way into Pep Guardiola's first-team plans, and have been working hard to sign them up to new long-term deals.
Striker Liam Delap and this season's breakout star Cole Palmer both recently committed their futures to the club until 2026, but another growing talent in McAtee is yet to sign a new deal.
The 19-year-old playmaker made his senior debut in the 6-1 Carabao Cup win over Wycombe Wanderers and has been impressive in the Under-23s over the last 18-months.
