Manchester United are one of a number of clubs keeping a watchful eye on Manchester City youngster James McAtee. That is according a report by the Mirror who claim that United are 'monitoring the situation' of the highly-rated youngster, who is considered to have a very bright future.
The midfielder, who recently turned 19-years-old, has just 18 months remaining on his current contract at the Etihad Stadium and several clubs across Europe, including Barcelona, are said to be keeping a close eye on what developments unfold in regards to the future of his career at City.
Reportedly attracting loan interest from Swansea City ahead of the January transfer window, McAtee was originally on United's books, before being released by the club.
