Bernardo Silva says Phil Foden and Cole Palmer have proved that Manchester City's policy of promoting academy players to senior training is paying off.
Bernardo has seen a number of youngsters come through the first team training squad after impressing at academy level, with Foden leading the way in recent years.
Since Foden's breakthrough, players like Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Tommy Doyle, Palmer and a number of others have been promoted to give them valuable experience of training alongside City's world-class players.
Foden is now a first team regular, playing in City's most important games, while Palmer has outgrown academy football and has been a familiar face in senior matchday squads this season.
