An former headteacher has admitted murdering his estranged wife and her new lover, who were found stabbed to death in the killer's former marital home on New Year's Day.
Rhys Hancock, 40, called 999 just before 4.30am on January 1 this year after he killed his wife, mum-of-three Helen Hancock, and her partner Martin Griffiths.
Hancock told police he was at his former marital home in Duffield, Derbyshire, and he had murdered PE teacher Ms Hancock, 39, and company director Mr Griffiths, a 48-year-old dad-of-two.
