Thierry Henry has jokingly challenged Kevin de Bruyne to improve his goalscoring record as the Manchester City midfielder targets the former Arsenal striker’s Premier League assists record.
De Bruyne is currently four assists behind Henry’s record of 20 in a season, and last week revealed that he had joked with the Gunners’ legend - who coached De Bruyne as Belgium assistant manager between 2016 and 2018 - about the mark earlier in the season. “I always joked with Henry in the national team, even at Vincent Kompany’s testimonial this year.
