M602 shut after emergency services descend on 'serious' crash on Regent Road in Salford

Parts of the M602 and Regent Road have been shut following the smash at around 10.30pm on Tuesday. Police are urging drivers to avoid the area.
Traffic camera images show several police cars and fire engines at the roundabout near Salford Royal. The M602 is closed eastbound between junctions two and three.
Two lanes are also blocked on Regent Road. Diversions have been put in place. A statement on the Highways England website says: "The M602 in Greater Manchester is closed eastbound between J2 and J3 due to a serious collision which has occurred on the J3 roundabout. "This
