Leeds.The defender has become a cult figure at Elland Road after helping Leeds win promotion back to the Premier League in 2020 under former boss Marcelo Bielsa.
Ayling, 30, will be out of contract at the end of next season and his future remains unclear.But he has told the Yorkshire club he would love to sign an extension and see out the remainder of his career with them.
Ayling said: "I'd love to spend the rest of my life in Leeds. I love it here. I brought my family here and I'd live here for the rest of my life.
Ideally I'd love to stay here for the rest of my career, but football is a cut-throat business and who knows what's in the future."I might grow old quicker than I think and can't do it anymore and it's time to move on.
