Love Island star Dr Alex, who entered into the ITV villa in 2018, has being appointed as an Ambassador for Mental Health to the government by Boris Johnson.
Dr Alex, 30, has used his platform to help education the nation on the importance of mental health and wellbeing ever since leaving the hit reality TV series.While his co-stars set out on the path to become influencers with clothing deals, Dr Alex returned to his job working in A&E alongside a regular lot on Lorraine.Taking to Twitter to announce his new government role, Dr Alex wrote: "The Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has appointed me as the Ambassador for Mental Health."I will be working with the Government to make mental health a priority, for both current and future.
