Labour has accused Boris Johnson of spreading "disinformation" after the PM claimed Keir Starmer wanted to keep the UK in the European Medicines Agency during the pandemic.
Mr Johnson said the Labour leader had repeatedly called for the UK to stay in the European Medicines Agency, and suggested such a move would have hampered the UK’s response to the pandemic.
While Mr Starmer did ask why the Government planned to leave the agency in January 2017, he hasn't advocated for UK membership of the agency during the pandemic.
Previously Mr Johnson has also claimed that Keir Starmer said the UK should join the EU's ailing vaccine roll-out scheme, a claim Labour says is untrue.
