Los Angeles Tops 4,000 New Covid Cases For The First Time Since January

On Wednesday, Los Angeles County reported more than 4,000 new daily Covid cases for the first time since January. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health confirmed 4,046 new cases of Covid-19 and 34 new deaths.

New Covid cases in Los Angeles have been ranging a few hundred above and below the 3,000 mark for more than a week. Orange County also saw a big jump in new cases.Officials there reported 1,213 new coronavirus infections today, nearly double the number logged Tuesday.
