Lorraine Kelly confirmed that the 'suspicious' parcel was thought to be a bomb by ITV officials. On Friday's (March 11) Good Morning Britain, hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway cut away to Lorraine Kelly in her studio to see what was coming up next on the show.

During the segment, the GMB hosts asked Lorraine to clarify what had caused the ITV studios to evacuate the day before after the news broke that it was due to a 'suspicious-looking' parcel that was addressed to her.

Ben asked Lorraine to explain what happened to viewers, with him teasing her that it may have been a 'pair of suspicious underwear' that was delivered.Lorraine explained: "It wasn't, apparently I've been told, somebody from a film company sent me a wee present and it had a battery in it.To which Kate quipped: "Ooh hello!"Lorraine then continued: "And it went it was x-rayed it looked a little bit suspicious but it was all fine and dandy and it's ok..."Kate then added: "It's lovely to know people are worried about you and taking care of you, it's a nice thing."This comes after Peter Andre and son Junior opened up about how grateful they were to be able to visit their family in Australia on the show. The family had previously spent two years apart due to travel restrictions caused by the pandemic. The family were thrilled to be back together, however, Peter has been worried about his mum's "declining" health.GMB host Ben Shephard asked Peter's teenage son: "Junior, I wonder who was the most emotional, was it your dad or uncle Mike?"Junior, 16, replied: "Yes dad is a very emotional guy, there were tears everywhere, to be honest.

Even I was emotional. I hadn't seen them for a very long time, it has been amazing."This is a live TV story and is constantly.
