Katie Piper 'so excited' to host her own new ITV Sunday breakfast show
dailystar.co.ukLoose Women’s Katie Piper is set to present a new Sunday morning breakfast show in the spring, which a spokesperson has said she is “so excited” for.The 38-year-old is part of an ITV shake up for the new season, which features some very familiar faces in the lineup.The Pantene ambassador already hosts BBC Radio 2’s early morning breakfast show and was recently awarded an OBE in the 2022 New Year’s Honours List.The activist survived a premeditated acid attack in 2008 at just 24 years old, which saw her whole life turned upside down.Piper's ex-boyfriend hired someone to throw sulphuric acid into her face which left her with over 200 surgeries due to the vicious attack.The inspirational woman set up the Katie Piper Foundation just a year afterwards and has been awarded an OBE for her services to charity, victims of burns and other disfigurement injuries.Before she received her OBE, Katie told Harper’s Bazaar: "Trauma is a fact of life, but it needn't be a life sentence.

We wanted a second chance at life."Over the upcoming weekends, Katie will also be joined by broadcaster Kate Garraway, who will host Garraway’s Good Stuff on Saturday mornings.The Good Morning Britain presenter will be joined by special guests to help fans “start the weekend in style”.Next up, three more shows will dominate Sunday mornings, one of which is Big Zuu’s Breakfast Show.The chef and musician will cook “mouth-watering” food for his guests and will then hand over to Vick Hope’s Sunday slot.Katie Rawcliffe, Head of ITV.
