Good Morning Britain viewers were left unimpressed during Friday's show when they claim the show pulled the 'worst ever' April Fool's Day prank.

It was Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway back at the helm of the show on April 1, a day usually consisting of practical jokes and hoaxes While the hosts were in the London-based studio, weather presenter Laura Tobin was broadcasting from a greenhouse.

While she was there, she was shown a 'unique plant' by greenhouse worker Matt who told her the new plant was very important and the first of its kind.

He said he hoped it could be released for sale for people to have in their gardens in a couple of years. "Oh my goodness, so people will be able to buy this plant in a few years' time?" Laura asked to which Matt replied: "They will in a couple of years' time once we have bred from this one.
