Liam James Payne (born 29 August 1993) is an English singer and songwriter.

He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction.

Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned for the British television series The X Factor in 2008. After being eliminated as a solo performer, he auditioned again in 2010 and was put into a group with four other contestants to form One Direction

She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.

She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.

Weeks have passed by since this year's Oscars - and all its drama - took place but it has taken until now for Liam Payne to address a viral moment from the awards, only second to THAT altercation.

Back on March 28, as the fallout from the 94th Acadamy Awards was all about the incident between Will Smith and Chris Rock, the former One Direction star was asked for his quick take as he headed to an Oscars after-party.

Liam, 28, was chatting to the Good Morning Britain's North America correspondent Noel Phillips, who was live on the red carpet of Elton John's Oscars party for the ITV news programme.
