Logan and Jake Paul have hit out at the "f***** up" state of boxing following Dmitry Bivol's world title victory over Canelo Alvarez on Saturday (May 7).Bivol won via unanimous decision to hold on to his WBA light heavyweight strap having outclassed Alvarez for the majority of the bout, but boxing fans could barely believe their eyes when the judges scorecards were revealed. Two of them had the Russian ahead by just a single point going into the final round, meaning that had Alvarez done enough to pip his opponent in the closing stage, he'd have salvaged an undeserved draw.In response, YouTuber-turned-boxer Logan branded boxing "inherently super f***** up", insisting that it's high time the rules were changed."Canelo was undeniably out-boxed and his opponent STILL only won seven rounds (according to scorecards)," the 27-year-old tweeted."Boxing is inherently super f***** up.
Gimmicks aside, it's why I'm so bullish on @jakepaul and the solutions he’s trying to implement for fighter pay and scoring."Time for change."Were the scorecards fair?
