Manchester music legend Clint Boon has announced that he is quitting his hugely popular radio show on XS Manchester. Clint has been at the station for the past seven years and presents XS's drive time show from 3pm to 6pm on weekdays.

Inspiral Carpets have confirmed that they are reuniting for a UK tour in spring 2023 – see full dates below and find tickets here.The indie veterans will hit the road for gigs next March and April, with the tour kicking off in Northampton and stopping in Newcastle, Oxford, Brighton, Cambridge, Manchester, Nottingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Sheffield, London, Coventry and Frome.The band last played together in 2015, before they went on indefinite hiatus following the death of their drummer, Craig Gill. At the time the likes of Liam Gallagher, Stephen Holt and the city of Manchester paid tribute to Gill over Twitter.Formed by Clint Boon, Gill joined Inspiral Carpets at the age of just 14 in 1986.

Thousands of people again took the streets for the third day of celebrations for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. The date should have seen the Leicester indie outfit play their only UK show at Victoria Park but the group were forced to cancel as the ongoing coronavirus crisis continues.Tickets for the event are available now and give fans the chance to live-stream the event as well as ask Meighan questions.There is also an opportunity for fans to have a one-to-one video meet and greet with Meighan.
