J. Kim Murphy Bert I. Gordon, an American filmmaker whose low-budget creature features brought super-sized monsters to drive-in cinemas in the mid-20th century, died Wednesday in Los Angeles after collapsing at his home in Beverly Hills. He was 100. Gordon’s death was confirmed to the New York Times by his daughter, Patricia. In Atomic Age America, Gordon’s science-fiction B movies manifested the country’s nuclear anxieties as eye-popping apocalypse spectacles. Mostly working under shooting schedules that could total to two weeks and change at most, Gordon produced, directed and wrote more than 25 features over a career spanning six decades, including striking titles like “Village of the Giants” (1965), “How to Succeed With Sex” (1970) and “Empire of the Ants” (1977). His films “Necromancy” (1972)” and “The Food of the Gods” (1976) featured Orson Welles and Ida Lupino, respectively.

Demi Lovato's younger sister Madison De La Garza revealed that she has been sober for 230 days by using the TikTok 'ancestors' trend. The 21-year-old took to the app a few days ago to participate in the popular trend in which the 2023 version of a person tells their 'ancestors' something that would shock or excite them. Madison used the wholesome trend to tell her ancestors about her sobriety milestone.

She was 95. Hotchkis starred opposite William Windom in the NBC sitcom “My World and Welcome to It,” and played the on-again/off-again girlfriend of Jack Klugman’s Oscar Madison in “The Odd Couple.” As a playwright, she wrote 1974’s “Legacy,” a one-woman play about an upper-class housewife who deteriorates mentally. The following year, she wrote and starred in the film adaptation of “Legacy,” which won the best newcomer award at the Tehran International Film Festival.

Julianne Moore donated some of her own dresses to EBTH’s Gowns for Good Benefit in New York on Saturday. The 61-year-old actress attended the event alongside a number stars including Cameron Silver and Kelly Bensimon. The benefit, hosted by Everything But The House, supports The Entertainment Community Fund which acts as a safety net for people in the arts community.  Her own dress: Julianne Moore donated one of her own dresses to EBTH’s Gowns for Good Benefit in New York on Saturday More than 40 dresses from prominent celebrities were auctioned off at the event including one which Moore herself donned.   She graced the red carpet in the dress at The Cannes Film Festival back in 2018.  One of the dresses was a fiery red floor-length gown with sleeves that didn't cover her arms past the elbows. The company sold that garment for $3,000. Four more photos of Moore in gowns were uploaded to the website.
