I mean that the drama is mired in the fetishistic trappings of the American West — the horses and farm houses, the sunbaked wilderness, the small-town banks and bare-bones convenience stores, the men walking around in Stetsons and cowboy boots, the dialogue that’s so laconic you could drive a pickup truck between the lines.

The former talk show host did record the birth in her documentary "The Business of Being Born," but she had "a beautiful album" of photos from the time as well.

Film Critics Banquet; AFI Awards Luncheon (now set for Feb. 6); AARP’s televised Movies For Grownups Awards and countless other awards season-related events, even including the voting period and announcement of Oscar nominations that finally took place a week later than planned on Thursday morning. Among those ceremonies earliest affected was American Cinematheque‘s 4th Annual Tribute to The Crafts which had originally been scheduled to occur Jan. 9 in Hollywood but, as the fires grew increasingly out of control, was quickly postponed.

BLACKPINK singer Jennie has announced a string of intimate shows to celebrate the upcoming release of her debut solo album.On Wednesday (January 22) the K-pop idol and her label Odd Atelier announced the LP titled ‘Ruby’ will be released on March 7, featuring collaborations with Doechii, Dua Lipa and more.Now, she’s revealed she’ll be playing three small shows once the LP has come out, which she described as “intense and intimate as I like it” on Instagram.The first show will take place on March 6 – the night before ‘Ruby’s release – at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theatre. From there, she’ll head to New York to play Radio City Music Hall on March 10, followed by a gig in Seoul, South Korea on March 15.Tickets will go on sale next Friday (January 31) at 10am local time, and a portion of proceeds will go towards recovery efforts following the Los Angeles wildfires that took place earlier this month.
