Select Fashion is preparing to shut down 23 of its high street stores by this weekend.The struggling retailer has already closed 12 stores as part of a wider plan to close 35 sites in total by March 15.This means that the remaining 23 stores are set to close their doors by this weekend. Once these closures have taken place, Select will be left with 48 stores. Over the past few years, the fashion chain has been steadily closing sites, including branches in Ipswich, Kent, Cwmbran and the Erith Riverside Shopping in London in 2024.This follows Select's collapse into administration in 2019 and its entry into a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) last summer.
