Mohamed Salah has been named PFA Player of the Year for the second time after helping Liverpool to League Cup and FA Cup glory as well as into the Champions League final.The Egypt international forward scored 31 goals across 51 fixtures in all competitions while creating a further 16 goals for his team-mates as they went to within two fixtures of a historic quadruple.The 29-year-old first won the award on his blockbuster debut season at Anfield in which he scored 44 goals in all competitions, with the award having also been won by Virgil van Dijk since then."Thank you very much.

It is great, always, to win trophies – individual or collective. This one is big. I’m very happy and very proud of that," he said."This one is a really good one to win, especially because it’s voted by players.
