Liverpool have decided against using the government's furlough scheme after coming under fire for announcing they would place non-playing staff on it last week.
The English Premier League giants announced on Saturday they would join Newcastle and Tottenham in putting works on the government scheme but it was criticised by the likes of Jamie Carragher and Gary Lineker.
