Lidl shoppers fume at change to £1.49 household staple that's 'so cheeky'

Lidl has managed to land itself in a bit of hot water with its customers who have been left fuming over a major change they have spotted on its toilet paper.

The budget supermarket chain's loyal customers have flocked to social media to complain about a change it has made to its Floralys Quilted Toilet Paper.Shoppers have noticed that the German discounter has dropped the quality of the household item from 4-ply to 3-ply - but kept the price the same.

As reported by The Mirror, the change was spotted by one customer who alerted others on social media.Sharing a snap of Lidl's Floraly 4 pack toilet paper to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, they wrote: "Lidl have changed the quality of their quilted toilet paper, changed from 4 ply to 3 ply but have kept the price the same."
