After laying dormant for several years, the former Panacea venue has finally reopened its doors. Earlier this year, speculation was rife that the former celeb haunt would be revived, however a few weeks ago it was confirmed that a brand new concept would be opening.
Planning permission was requested earlier this year to open a brand new spot within the basement space. And now, after months of renovation, kitchen training and menu curation, iKaro has finally been unveiled.
Company director, Zack Issak, said: "It's long overdue that this popular space opened its doors once more and we're thrilled to be able to do that.
IKaro will create an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Guests will enjoy a choice of the world's finest Champagnes, paired with the best Wagyu steaks and seafood on the market.” Read more: Italian loved by celebs and Premier League footballers confirms takeover of former Rosso restaurant site in Manchester Read more: "Oldham Street was a right dump.
