manchestereveningnews.co.ukhereOldham has the highest rate with 677.7 per 100,000 for the same period.There were 1,607 cases recorded in the town during the week ending November 9 - which is 272 fewer than the previous week.That's the first time cases have gone down in Oldham since August 29.Stockport currently has the lowest rate in the region with 336.7 cases per 100,000 in the week ending November 9.The latest figures come as the Scientific Advisory Committee for Emergencies (Sage) said the reproduction number for coronavirus - the R value - is dropping across the UK and is potentially below one in some areas.But the Scientific Pandemic Influenza Group on Modelling (SPI-M) - which reports to Sage - has warned that the reproduction rate of coronavirus must stay.
