Large-scale ‘rammy’ near Loch Lomond leaves Scots teen with serious head injury

Loch Lomond as day-trippers enjoyed the sunshine. Officers received reports of the disturbance in Balloch park, close to the beach area, at around 3.30pm on Saturday, July 17.

A 19-year-old man suffered a serious head injury and was rushed to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment. Police Scotland confirmed he has since been released but their bid to identify his alleged attacker continues.The suspect is described as being male who is aged between 16 and 20.Detective Constable Geoff McKillop from CID said: “There were hundreds of people within the park at the time of the incident."Some may have videoed or photographed the incident on mobile phones, and may have footage with important evidence on it."I am looking for anyone who witnessed.
