A Lanarkshire cycling weekend free Fun Day event left visitors with a smile on their faces following the wheelie successful afternoon.Clyde Cycle Park held their first-ever Family Fun Day on Saturday, July 29, in the Cambuslang park and was branded as a resounding success.A full programme of cycling sessions and social cycle rides for young people and adults were all booked out and many first-time visitors came to see the Park and what it can offer.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Carol Thompson, Project Coordinator of the Clyde Cycle Park said: “We are delighted with the success of our first Family Fun Day.
We are grateful that so many people came along to take part in our women’s skills and kids sessions at the Park as well as a social ride along the river. “Several of the adults who came along got on a bike for the first time in 20 or 30 years and showed that you never forget how to ride!
