Labour's Shadow Health Secretary Jonathan Ashworth's was hilariously interrupted by his children while live on TV - for the second time.

The Labour MP was speaking on the BBC about the government's response to Covid-19 when his daughter, Annie, gate crashed the interview.

Footage shows her making a surprise cameo appearance on the live stream of BBC News as she sneaks up on her dad. Exhilarating footage shows her cheekily waving at the camera with a big grin on her face while her dad smiles awkwardly as he tried to get her out.

Mr Ashworth, who was talking about the Tory government's "monstrous" failure to give sick pay to those who had contracted Covid-19, tries nudging her out when he realised he had been interrupted.
