Seriously, Elon Musk? Just eight months after being banned for making several offensive and antisemitic posts, Kanye West is back on Twitter.
The company, which has been rebranded as X, reinstated the 46-year-old rapper’s account at one point on Saturday.
Ugh. How did he manage to convince them to let him return to the platform? According to The Wall Street Journal, a source claimed the decision to give him back his account came “after receiving reassurance that he wouldn’t use the platform to share antisemitic or otherwise harmful language.” However, there are still limitations placed on his page.
The outlet reported that Kanye won’t be eligible to monetize his account, and advertisements won’t show next to any of his posts moving forward.
