hereAfter being released under investigation following the search, Mir went onto commit further drugs offences.In November last year, he was locked up for 40 months following a hearing at Manchester Crown Court.But a number of issues meant the offences Mir committed in March weren't dealt with by the sentencing judge in November last year.Prosecutors told the court it initially took time to conduct forensic examinations into the drugs seized.But then from September last year to March there were 'issues' with files being sent from GMP to the Crown Prosecution Service, prosecutor Eleanor Gleeson said.Mir was eventually charged and brought before the courts.
