Former Hull KR and Doncaster star Jordan Cox has died at the young age of 27, Rugby League has confirmed. Cox's family are devastated at the sudden loss as he passed away at his home in Hull.

The prop played for a number of rugby league clubs including Warrington Wolves, Sheffield Eagles, Doncaster and York City Knights.

The circumstances surrounding his death are said to be non-suspicious and not related to the coronavirus pandemic. Cox's sudden death has rocked the rugby league world and tributes have been paid on social media.
