BBC Breakfast called in royal correspondent and journalist Jennie to talk about the Queen's health and upcoming engagements, but Jennie couldn't confirm whether the monarch will definitely be up on the balcony for the Jubilee celebrations.Sally Nugent kicked off by asking: "Now Jennie - the Jubilee celebrations are just under a month away - how involved do you think the Queen might be able to be?"Jennie then responded: "Well again, that is absolutely historic, a unique occasion.

I think at the very least we hope to see her on the balcony at Buckingham Palace, and I think she will try to make the thanksgiving service, but again that is tricky."There's a lot of manoeuvring that will have to be done to find a different entrance - which there is, to St.

Paul's Cathedral. Obviously she wants to make it, but the decision will be made on the day. "But I think this does open up also the whole issue of the Counsellors of State who stand in for her.

Today we will see Prince Charles and Prince William - the other two counsellors, well, they are Prince Andrew and Prince Harry." She added: "Prince Harry isn't here, Prince Andrew cannot carry out Royal duties."Speaking about Prince Charles stepping in for the Queen at Parliament, Jennie admitted: "I did think it was the event she was going to try and make in the weeks ahead, actually. "It is very important, it is one of the core responsibilities of the monarch, the State Opening of Parliament, but it's quite an intense event because it is all about the Queen, the focus would be on her throughout."This is a live TV story and is being constantly updated.
