Liverpool won Sunday's Merseyside derby 2-0 at Anfield, as goals from Andy Robertson and Divock Origi added further pressure on leaders Manchester City.
It was no means a straight forward victory however, as Everton fought for their lives.Academy graduate Anthony Gordon who caused the Reds problems, saw his penalty appeal turned down in the second half after a tangle with Joel Matip.
Campbell felt Attwell failed to pick up on that moment which could have been game changing."[If] they take the lead then maybe you put a little bit of doubt in Liverpool’s mind," Campbell said on Sky Sports. "That’s the break that Everton needed today, it didn’t come.
