UFC President Dana White has reportedly gone to extreme measures to ensure next weekend’s UFC 249 can take place amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Sport across the globe has been postponed or cancelled due to COVID-19, including last month’s scheduled UFC London card. Khabib Nurmagomedov was set to face Tony Ferguson at UFC 249 in Brooklyn however the current lightweight champion has been unable to get out of Dagestan.

White had already admitted the event was likely to be behind closed doors and it now appears the UFC chief has a ‘private island’ in central California as a venue.
