But with the arena empty of fans most shouts and loud noises could be heard by anyone inside, including those inside the Octagon.
The UFC 249 card was stacked with several high level fights on offer with the event headlined by Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje.
But two fighters from earlier bouts on the card, Carla Esparza and James Hardy, admitted after their fights that they had been aided by the empty arena.
