Asda has brought in a limit on the number of items from their ‘Just Essentials’ range that you can buy at once. The supermarket giant has limited the number of items shoppers can buy from its new budget brand, only allowing customers to purchase three of each products at a time both in store and online.

The limit, which the brand hopes to only have in place for a 'short period' is per product, meaning there's no limit on the number of products you can buy from the range.

This means you could buy three tins of chopped tomatoes and a block of cheddar cheese, but if you tried to buy four tins of tomatoes you would be stopped by the staff.

This applies to the entire range. READ MORE: Asda introduces major change to its new Just Essentials range YorkshireLive reporter Sebastian McCormick visited an Asda store in Leeds and said the rules were not always clearly marked.
