Hull's survival prospects have been dealt a savage blow with five key players ruled out of their relegation battle.Eric Lichaj, Jackson Irvine, Stephen Kingsley and Marcus Maddison have all failed to agree new short-term contracts and so will leave the club when they become free agents on June 30.And relegation rivals Barnsley have failed to extend the loan deal of Mallik Wilks though he will be available for the two games against Charlton and Birmingham in the next ten days.With on-loan Maddison opting against featuring in the Tigers' remaining nine fixtures before quitting parent club Peterborough at the end of the month, it leaves Grant McCann's squad seriously depleted.But McCann is putting on a brave face insisting he only wants.
