Cheadle Hulme built their tiki bar in just a few days in lockdown for around £800. Rob Stewart, who is currently on furlough but works in Landside Operations at Manchester Airport, described building the bar with his partner Joanne as a 'real labour of love'.Speaking to the M.E.N, Rob said: “This has been so worthwhile as lockdown has been gradually eased.
This is just the perfect place to relax and share with friends and family.”He explained: “I’ve had this project whizzing around my head for a while, but how to construct it was a puzzle. ‘Do I use old pallets, reclaimed timber, new timber?’“Then I had a lightbulb moment.
