dog. Georgia Wilson-Wheeler was putting the bin out for her mm when she noticed a mutt hanging around near their bins, GrimsbyLive reports.
After shooing the dog away, she knelt down to pick some rubbish off of the floor only for the dog to come back and attack her.
The dog, which Georgia's family believe to be a Staffordshire Bull Terrier crossed with a Pitbull, left her needing 25 stitches to reattach her lip after being set upon.
Georgia is now recovering and Humberside Police is investigating the incident, which happened on Thursday, March 11 at around 7.30pm.
