Graham Stuart is desperate for Everton to end their long wait for a piece of silverware. But when the Toffees finally satisfy their hunger for a major trophy, it is unlikely the current squad will celebrate with a Burger King at a service station on the M6 like the 1995 FA Cup heroes.

Today marks 25 years since Joe Royle's Blues shocked holders Manchester United at Wembley. Football has changed a lot since then but even in the 1990s the sight of a Premier League team marching into a motorway service station with the FA Cup in tow made a few drivers turn their heads. “I remember getting up on the Sunday morning, we were on the bus at 10.30am to get back to Merseyside for the open top bus parade around the city,” said the ex-Toffees striker.
