Liverpool legend Graeme Souness have picked out three players who are the reason for the club’s poor performance. The Reds made it four Premier League games without a win as they had to settle for a 0-0 draw against Manchester United at Anfield.
It is also the first time since March 2005 that the champions have failed to score in three consecutive top-flight matches.And Souness, who won five First Division titles and three European Cups at Liverpool, has put the blame on three players.
Speaking on Sky Sports after the match, the 67-year-old said: “For me, looking at Liverpool as a Liverpool supporter and thinking the difference between where they've been for the last three years and where they are right now is the front three.
