Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Good Morning Britain underwent a major format change when host Susanna Reid left the ITV studio - and appeared from a surprising foreign location. The presenter usually hosts the ITV breakfast show on weekday mornings between 6am and 9am with rotating male co-hosts like Richard Madeley and Tipping Point star Ben Shephard. However, she was missing from her usual seat in the studio when viewers woke up on Monday morning (April 25).That's because Susanna had travelled to Medyka in Poland to report live on the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia from the border. She could be seen speaking to devastated families fleeing the war-torn country, who told her heartbreaking tales of how their lives had been turned upside down by the conflict.Susanna was aided by a translator to navigate the language barrier as she interviewed families and a young child who grew tearful on camera. She appeared in the studio via video link which enabled her to chat to her co-stars such as Richard, a format change which threw up a few technical difficulties.During the show, she spoke to war campaigner David Morrisey and the former Ukrainian president Viktor Yushenko. This is a live TV story and is being constantly updated.
