Putin humiliated after firing £4m missile at Ukraine and only destroying beach toilet

Vladimir Putin faced further humiliation after Russian missile strikes on Odesa succeeded in only destroying a public toilet on a beach.The Black Sea port plays a vital role in Ukraine's overall economy and is currently under a Russian naval blockade. The city is a key strategic target for the Russians and has been subjected to heavy bombardment.However, Russian commanders appeared to get their targets confused after wiping out a beach toilet in the city instead.The destruction of the public bathroom was confirmed in a statement issued by Ukraine's southern operational command.They said: "Another missile strike with the use of aircraft was inflicted on the Odesa region."With air-based missiles, the enemy significantly 'damaged the air' in the southern Odesa region."The beach toilet was destroyed.

Hans Zimmer teamed up with Ukraine’s Odessa Opera Orchestra as he kicked off his UK tour at London’s O2 Arena last night (March 22).The film composer began the show with an emotional tribute to his orchestra and all Ukrainians suffering during the ongoing war in Ukraine.“When Covid stopped us from coming here 885 days ago, we booked our orchestra from the Ukraine, from Odessa, and we only managed to get 10 people out… So just welcome them…” he said before he introduced the orchestra, to a standing ovation.Zimmer continued: “One of the things which I thought was remarkable about the people that we did bring back out of the Ukraine, that were left behind from the orchestra, it was a lot of women. They taught me who the real wonder women are and so I would like to celebrate them with this little ditty called Wonder Woman.”The orchestra then performed the theme tune with Zimmer, which you can view below.During the show, Zimmer also performed music from Dune, James Bond, The Dark Knight and Inception.Meanwhile, Popular Ukrainian band Antytila today (March 23) offered to perform remotely from Kyiv at next week’s ‘Concert For Ukraine’ in Birmingham.Announced last week, the two-hour benefit show will air March 29 on ITV in aid of the Disasters Emergency Committee‘s (DEC) Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.Nile Rodgers and Chic, Manic Street Preachers, Tom Odell, Becky Hill and The Kingdom Choir have all been freshly announced for the show, which takes place at Resorts World Arena Birmingham.
