Dr Jarvis - who's sitting in for Dr Hilary - addressed reports claiming certain groups could be targeted by lockdown measures in the ongoing struggle to halt the spread of coronavirus.
Speaking to Kate Garraway and Adil Ray on this morning's show, Dr Jarvis slammed the idea that under-40s might not need abide by these lockdown rules.
No age-specific lockdown idea has been confirmed by the government. She said: "An awful lot of older people would say, 'hold on a minute, we have worked all our lives to make this country what it is.
