Kate Garraway thanked her Good Morning Britain family for their support during the most challenging time in her life. Good Morning Britain's presenter, 53, confirmed she's going to be taking a break from the breakfast show amid her husband Derek Draper's recovery in hospital.

It isn't certain when Derek will recover after he was struck down with coronavirus in March. Ben Shepherd and Adil Ray joined all the Good Morning Britain staff on and off screen who have thrown their support behind Kate.

The mother-of-two fondly referred to her Good Morning Britain co-stars as her "family" and gushed they had all been amazing.
