Writing in her new magazine column, the 39 year old said it made her "blood boil" when she found out the public were subjecting the presenter to "abuse" for "laughing and joking" on TV while her husband Derek Draper remains in hospital after beating the coronavirus.The former Atomic Kitten star, who recently revealed she nearly died from taking cocaine, said: "It made my blood boil when I saw Kate Garraway had been subjected to online abuse from people who were upset that she seemed cheerful and was laughing on Good Morning Britain, while her hubby Derek is in hospital fighting Covid."
