A three-year-old girl was seriously injured in a dog attack this afternoon. Nottinghamshire Police said the German Shepherd, which was off its lead, attacked the girl's face leaving her with serious injuries at around 3.30pm.
The youngster was taken to Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre and the extent of her injuries is unknown. A hunt has been launched to find the animal and its walker as they left the scene shortly after attack which took place in the Enderby Square/Woodside Road area in Lenton Abbey, Nottingham.
