The evolution of Adele’s face

A total goddess in olde-Hollywood style, in those plunging gowns, sleek waves and picture-perfect make-up, her skin glowing as if there was already an Instagram filter over it, giving her a regal, sculpted radiance…At which point, everyone starts wondering: how does she look like that?

What has she done, or had done? And, er, she had any tweakments to help her out?Look, I have absolutely no idea and it’s none of my business.

Adele is insanely beautiful with staggering bone structure unveiled by her weight loss. Much of the impact of Tuesday night’s look was thanks to her superstar glam squad – her stylist Jamie Mizrahi, hairdresser Sami Knight and make-up artist Anthony H Nguyen, who gave her strong eyebrows, an airbrushed complexion and chiselled her cheekbones and jawline with Kevin-Aucoin-style levels of contouring.But I know that’s not going to stop you asking, what else could she be up to that amps up her look to the stratospheric levels of perfection we saw at the Brits?I’d like to say, not very much, not least because it surely goes against the grain of Adele’s down-to-earth image to start tweaking her face to the extent that the Kardashians do.

But then again, Adele lives in LA and, when you live there for long, you can’t help but pick up a few LA-style habits.I know from my work in the aesthetics industry how non-surgical beauty procedures have mushroomed around the globe in the past decade, and the extent to which most people in the public eye are having a little bit of something to “help” their looks, however much they may deny it (to be clear, Adele has said nothing about any of this, one way or the other).So what are those LA habits?
