Milan-based designer Giorgio Armani has donated $1.4 million to help tackle Italy's coronavirus outbreak.It comes as the health system in the Lombardy region of northern Italy is said to be 'a step away from collapse' as intensive care facilities come under enormous pressure and the death toll from COVID-19 continues to rise.Armani donated the money to three Milan-based hospitals as well as Rome's Spallanzani hospital and the Civil Protection Agency, a company spokeswoman said on Monday.
