Coffee chain Pret A Manger have announced they will be re-opening more than 200 sites from next Monday, June 1. The sandwich shop will be opening the branches for takeaway and delivery – much to the delight of British workers.
Pret A Manger sites will reopen for the first time across the UK. However 75% of those opening on June 1 are in the capital.
Out of the 204 which are pegged to re-open, 153 are in London. Pret A Manger initially closed down all of their stores, including for delivery, when the coronavirus lockdown commenced.
Bosses stated that they wanted to protect their staff from the killer virus. As offices were left empty, most of the sites would have received little to no custom from hungry workers at lunchtime.
