EasyJet is restarting flights from today across the UK for the first time since March. The airline’s first UK flight as it restarts operations will be the 7am departure from Gatwick to Glasgow.
The travel industry is gradually gearing up once more after the pandemic left airlines grounding virtually all their planes.
The Foreign Office currently advises against all non-essential travel, but this is expected to change soon. Sources have claimed that the rules could be loosened in order to allow for Brits to travel to low-risk countries.
But as easyJet gears up to once again resume flying, we've taken a look at the new rules in place. All passengers and cabin crew will be required to wear masks when travelling.
